A long story abridged
When I started this site a year ago I knew that eventually I'd want to stray and
buy a second motorcycle. Of course I always planned to hold onto the CB come what may.
The CB is one of those reliable, practical bikes that really belongs in evey biker's garage. Thats if you can afford
more than just one machine.
With limitless funds what biker wouldn't own a Duke, Triumph, Custom Streetfighter, Harley, Gixer and a CB?
On a pesonal note I've recently found the job I've been looking for for a long time - Meter Reader. A humble role
that I love. It gets me out of the dreaded office and into fresh air. Meeting people and staying fit. Though, there
is no such thing as the perfect job - here is the real news. The CB has had to go!
Using my pride and joy everyday like a fuggin milk float was devastating. Not being able to afford two bikes left
me with just one option. So now the CB has gone to a better home traded-in for a town friendly Suzuki Burgman 400cc.
I'm going to carry on with the techy side of running the site, but I'm standing down as Editor.
Phil Skinner has agreed to take on the role - so all contributions should now be sent to Phil at phils.hoose@ukgateway.net. I am delighted with Phil's acceptance and am happy to pass the job to him. The
site can now move on a gear - no longer a super-homepage but a real team effort by enthusiasts for enthusiasts.
If I can ever afford two machines, a CB will once again rest in my yard - coz they are the greatest all-rounder.
